In a world that’s increasingly connected, for many it’s still a pain to get all your loved ones together for the holidays.
With multiple parties, family gatherings, and relatives to visit, it’s tough to find a time that you can sit down and celebrate. Luckily, Allcal makes it easier to schedule your family.
Our FREE app lets you share calendars so you can see what your family, friends, and loved ones have going on.
Share your personal calendars
By sharing your personal calendars, you’ll know what everyone is up to. You can quickly see when Aunt Sue is flying back from Hawaii, when your Mom plans to start driving to your house, and when your niece is done with her fall semester of college.

You can also share your personal calendar with loved ones to make sure they know when you can get together during the busy holiday season. Schedule your family and share your events with the ones you love.
Getting Started
1. Open your Personal Calendar.
2. Go to the calendar settings by clicking the Calendar Settings button (the three dots) under the calendar name.
3. Click on the Calendar Sharing section.
4. Enter the name or email address of the people you want to have access to your calendar.
Allcal Hack: By default, the user will get View, Share, and Add permissions. You can change each person’s permissions individually or all at once using the Default Permissions.
Each shared user will get an email and notification about the calendar share. Once they accept the calendar, he or she will be able to view your calendar in his or her My Calendars section.
Create a Shared Calendar
If you don’t want to have to look through every relative’s individual calendar, you can just create one shared calendar for the whole family. Every person you share the calendar with will be able to see the events, get reminders, or even add new events. That means you can quickly figure out which days work best for everyone, and plan an awesome holiday get-together.
Getting started:
1. Tap on the Main Menu button in the upper left corner of your screen.
2. Tap on Add Calendar in the main menu to create a calendar.
3. Add a calendar name that’s easy for your family to recognize, such as “Davis Family Calendar.”
4. Add a description, choose a color and fun cover photo.
5. Tap save.
6. Reopen the calendar and tap the Calendar Settings button (the three dots) below the search icon.
7. Tap on the Calendar Sharing section.
8. Enter the name or email addresses of the people you want to have access to the shared calendar.

Share your holiday events
Allcal’s innovative calendar sharing app also lets you share individual events with whoever you want.
Once you share an event with loved ones, they can add it to their own calendar or share it with other people in your group. But unlike other solutions, the link to each event stays alive. That means if you make any changes, everyone will see it on their very own calendar.
Getting Started:
1. Open the calendar you want to add your holiday event to.
2. Tap the plus icon in the upper right hand corner.
3. Add a name, description, location, and other details to your event.
4. Tap save.
5. Reopen the event and tap on the Event Invitation section.
6. Enter the name or email addresses of people you want to have access to the shared calendar.
7. Tap Invite to invite them to your calendar once you have entered their names or email addresses.
Each shared user will get an email and notification about the event share. Once they accept the event, he or she will be able to put the event on any calendar and get access to all the latest information.
The Allcal app is available on iPhone and Android smart phones. There’s also a web app, which allows anyone with an internet connection to get access to calendars and events. Each platform is linked, so any changes made on your phone or computer will be seen on all accounts.
