New Year’s Eve is a magical holiday, where people around the world pause for a few seconds to reflect on 2014, and welcome 2015.
It’s also a holiday filled with insane NYE parties.
For example, the Allcal Team is mostly based in North Texas, where about 40,000 people flock to Dallas for the Big D NYE celebration in Victory Park.
But we wanted to know what other parts of the world had going on for New Year’s Eve 2015. So we put together a NYE’s Events from Around the World 2015 public calendar with 7 of the most unique NYE parties that we found from all over the world.

With allcal public calendars, you can add the entire calendar and its events to your account, or just add individual public events. For example, you can search for New Year’s Eve events in our search feature, then find cool events happening near you.
The ones we found range from classy, to downright wacky, but there’s one thing they have in common – we wish were invited!

1. A Classy Celebration
What: New restaurant debut featuring buffet and live soul and Motown band.
Where: The Olde Bar, 125 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, PA
When: Dec 31, 8:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. EST
How much: $195
Who: Your surprisingly hip Great Aunt
This low-key, classy New Year’s Eve party in the Historic Bookbinder’s Building in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The building has been taken over by the brand new restaurant The Olde Bar, which decided to make its debut on New Year’s Eve 2015.
According to the website UWISHUNU ,”all of these elements are scheduled to come together in time for a grand debut on New Year’s Eve with a party from 8 to 10 p.m., ending in time to make the short trip to the waterfront to see the New Year’s Eve fireworks over the Delaware River. The ticketed party includes a full open bar, a sumptuous-sounding buffet-style menu and live music from The York Street Hustle, a 10-piece soul and Motown band.”
Now where’s my top hat?
2. High-Rollers Paradise
What: Poolside concert featuring Nervo and TheWeekend
Where: The Fountaineu Hotel, 4441 Collins Avenue, Miami, FL
When: Dec 31, 9:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. EST
How much: $275 – $50,000
Who: That guy on Instagram with the cat
I can’t even with this party…so I’ll let the Miami New Times explain, — “Don your diamond-studded “Happy New Year” tiara. Put on your highest pair of stilettos. Hit the streets and meet your party savior, Walking Light Man. Stand in awe and follow him to the Fontainebleau. Booze it up with supermodel-turned-DJ twins Mim and Liv Nervo before immersing yourself in the seductive R&B vibes of The Weeknd. Watch fireworks burst over the open sky.”
AND for only $50,000 you and 30 friends get 5 Belvedere Vodka, 2 Avion Tequila, 3 Moet Magnum Champagne, Waters, Red Bull AND party favors. (BTW, I did the math and you can buy all this alcohol for under $1,000.)
But if you’re still interested.. get your tickets here.
3. Hipsters Unite!
What: 2nd Annual Flannel Ball
Where: Roosevelt Row, Phoeniz, AZ
When: Dec 31 9:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. MT
How much: $15-$20
Who: People who are too cool for glitter
This is for the more relaxed crowd, who would honestly rather have a party in their backyard, but since no one will RSVP to their invites..they’ll just go to a public party instead.

AZ Central says “Dress in your best flannel outfit for this laid-back New Year’s party on Roosevelt Row. The evening will feature a “New on Old” art show, food trucks, beer from New Belguim Brewing Co., lawn games, live music and storytelling.”
I’m not going to lie, this party sounds fun…for any other Wednesday night.
4. ALL THE GLITTER
What: A futuristic-themed warehouse rave
Where: Actual location unknown, but somewhere in New York City, NY
When: Dec 31, 10 p.m. – ??? EST
How much: $40 in advance and probably a lot more at the door
Who: Performance artists and the non-Victoria Secret fashion models
Skip 2015 altogether and party like its 2085 in this futuristic-themed warehouse rave that could really only happen in New York City.
Paper Magazine says, “Blast into the future with Club Shade, as Ladyfag and Seva Granik invite you to party like it’s 2085. The insane warehouse party that’s previously brought in Alexander Wang, Miley Cyrus and Riccardo Tisci, will have a “shade stage,” non-stop dancing, and fashion vampires that won’t see daylight until 7am.”
I’m getting anxiety just imagining how one would dress for this party..
5. Family-Friendly Adventure
What: Zip-lining and party near a real volcano
Where: The Big Island, Hawaii
When: Dec 31
How much: $2,999 for up to 4 guests
Who: The family who has their dogs on their annual Christmas card
New Year’s Eve 2015 doesn’t have to be all about wild parties and drinking – it can also be about soaring through waterfalls while screaming!
KapohoKine Adventures will host its inaugural, “Zippin Lava Eve” starting with a pickup in Kona and then a drive to Hilo, where you’ll soar 160 feet above waterfalls and the rainforest along an eight-line zip course. Next up is a tour Hawaii Volcanoes National Park — and once night has fallen, you’ll head to the overlook to see the lava glow reflected in steam at the bottom of Halemaumau crater.”
Then the whole crew heads to the the Kilauea Volcano caldera for dinner, dancing, and champagne. (My mistake..I guess NYE is really all about wild parties and drinking.)
6. Disco & Facial Hair
What: A 70s/Moustache-themed party in Russia
Where: Doolittle Club, Moscow, Russia
When: Dec 31 10:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m. UTC+3
How much: No clue because I can’t read Russian
Who: Weirdos who like to party
Nylon Guys Magazine calls Doolittle, “one of Moscow’s most distinctive clubs.” It has a dance floor in the men’s bathroom and a cava wine bar in the women’s bathroom. (So how do they get people out of the bathroom?)
“The theme for the big night is disco, with ‘70s costumes and thick moustaches especially welcomed. In keeping with the venue’s inherent weirdness, the owner will be performing a live set at the bar, while party goers willing to brave the cold can dance around the Christmas tree outside.”
I would pay so much money for a picture of 70s-themed, Moustache’d men frolicking around the Christmas tree. Seriously, if you have one – send to team@allcal.com, k thanks.
7. A World-Class Fireworks Extravaganza
What: Massive fireworks show
Where: Downtown Dubai, United Arab Emirates
When: Dec 31
How much: Free
Who: Extreme pyro lovers
Dubai is pretty serious about making its city the ultimate place to spend New Year’s Eve. I mean..just look at what they did last year!
Believe it or not, the New Year’s Eve 2015 event in Downtown Dubai is expected to be even better!
According to local reports, “it’s set to be the grandest yet with a breath-taking six-part firework, laser and light show that sweeps through Downtown Dubai, while the LED screen wrapped around Burj Khalifa is filled to create one of the world’s brightest illuminations to date.”
Wow – bold statement. But after watching this amazing behind-the-scenes video, I think the city may live up to those claims.
4.7 TONNES of rocket power!? Yikes! You can watch the live stream on New Year’s Eve here: www.youtube.com/DowntownDubai
